Sony Square NYC is an interactive showroom and event space in Manhattan that highlights Sony’s innovations across entertainment and technology. To support the showroom’s flexible layout and evolving displays, the design team specified Pure + FreeForm’s Urban Cement finish on the interior walls, installed in the Rivetless Dry Joint Plate system. This lightweight metal panel mimics the look of natural concrete while allowing for easy removal and reinstallation, essential for a space that transforms frequently. The matte, cementitious tone with subtle silver undertones offers an industrial yet refined backdrop that complements Sony’s cutting-edge products, delivering both durability and design continuity.
